Edinburgh Engagement photo shoot

Beth and Mark are a gorgeous couple who met and worked together in Edinburgh. I was overjoyed when I met them to see how incredibly well dressed they were! Beth’s red dress really made the photographs explode, and Mark’s sharp suit complimented perfectly. The best Edinburgh wedding photographers will always have plenty of galleries from running around the city from all seasons of the year. I love getting the train into Waverley a few hours before the shoot, I am always full of excitement for the familiar views, as well as the ideas for new ones.

Some arty photos I hoped would be exciting for fellow photographer Beth.

Arriving at the famous vennel view I looked at one of my favourite landscape photographers Adam Bulley for inspiration. As clever as a canon r6 is, (and I probably could have gotten away with not using off camera flash with a double exposure) the blinding sun landing on Edinburgh castle meant that to have the beautiful bride and groom to be not in complete darkness - I whipped out a flash. I did some double exposures as well but I just loved the feeling of these images. Off to dean village, a special place for Beth and Mark. Thank you for letting me play a part in your wedding story, and I cannot wait to shoot the wedding at Coats in October!

If you would like to book a photo shoot with an Edinburgh wedding photographer. At this time of writing my Edinburgh wedding photographer prices are £300 for a pre-wedding shoot.
