How is this for a stunning wedding?!
Autumn sun - check. Perfect venue - check. Laid back relaxed party vibe - check. 1000 Beautiful photos - check. Awesome highlight film - check!
Katie & Ryan requested super informal photography. The mission was to become guest like, take photographs and film like how the guests experienced the day. That means no taking drinks out of peoples hands for photos. I think that maybe did happen once but formal group shots only took 3 or 4 minutes! What a delight, not doing endless postured photos. The largest section in the gallery actually is guest photos - in the sun laughing and hugging. Don’t take pictures of people in direct sun they say? How good do these outside images look! Perfect weather really is a blessing on a wedding.
The ceremony was a dream like, beautiful warm light flooding into a room so beautifully presented. Please don’t put led LOVE letters in your ceremony if you can help it. Later on is great, leave them off during the ceremony? It really does turn the colour temperatures into a chaotic soup. I’ve never been able to quite put my finger on the magic of shooting at Taypark house, there is definitely something unquantifiable that sets things off from my perspective. I highly encourage you to visit if you are venue shopping.
Ben was firing on all cylinders as always providing long range snipes whilst I was moving through collecting intimate moments. At key moments we both switch between filming and shooting still images so it’s a four person effort from two highly coordinated team mates. Check out the highlight film at the bottom, some really amazing drone scenes with the Tay and Autumn in full swing. I had great fun choosing the music for this film - Katie is a DJ and they are into modern house music. A great deal of pressure to select licensed music that reflected their tastes as well as coloured the moments appropriately! Took me two days on the music alone til I was happy!
