Lodge on Loch Lomond - Summer wedding photography

Offering our photo & film collection, Ben, Jay and I had the best day shooting videos and photographs for this incredible couple. Below is the short social sharer film, a selection from the 1100+ photographs and the long highlight film. As always the full speeches and full ceremony are filmed from multiple cameras but kept private.

I am often asked what is my favourite venue, and while Lodge on Loch Lomond is certainly right up there - it's actually all about you - the couple. You don’t need to be ‘photogenic’ either, although if that word should ever be used to describe someone, it would work real well for Metta & Scott! Probably every couple I’ve ever photographed would tell you they aren’t good at having their photo taken. Load of rubbish. The circumstances of the photograph mean so much. I’d struggle to do a couple shoot in a football stadium or a kids soft play centre. But I would struggle to take a poor photograph you on a boat on a sunny day in the middle of Loch Lomond! Your venue of choice will have some really excellent backdrops and settings for powerful images.

Beau Jangles - Yacht hire on Loch Lomond — Beau Jangles (lochlomondyacht.co.uk) is always a great idea. An hour long cruise round the loch is a great photo opportunity, especially with the drone chasing you around for video and taking in the surrounding mountains. If it is raining this is an even better idea as the Lodge relies quite heavily on the beautiful surroundings, and being in the cover of the boat still affords you a fun adventure and some outside photographs whilst staying dry.
