Banchory Lodge Wedding

Lizzy & Chris became Mr. & Mrs. at the stunning Banchory Lodge, in Aberdeenshire. The last time I was here was pre-pandemic and I have missed it. I often find a venue with a great member of events staff, and it transforms the whole experience when they are all over it. This is the case at Banchory Lodge and besides the beautiful surrounds, you will have a stress free well run experience for yourselves and your guests. That doesn’t sound very exciting but god is it important!

Chris, a fellow groom, puts me to shame in terms of just how much planning and active effort he put into his wedding day. I am sad to report my wife was almost entirely responsible for our wedding celebration. It is lovely to see a man that is so excited and dedicated to his fiance, family and friends.

Another great thing about Banchory lodge is the love of dogs they have. They are not only welcomed but perhaps even preferred to humans?! I especially enjoyed the paintings and artwork made up of canines. It was brilliant having Chico take part in the group shots and a few newly wed portraits. A wet, drizzly day with a window of opportunity for short sweet group shots. Oh, and check that rainbow!

Man is she an absolute hoot. The ladies did not stop giggling the whole morning. She made an absolute dream team with Kate Blanchard from Atomika hair.

The lovely and wonderful (and exceptionally knowledgeable) Mo

While I am based in Dundee I do enjoy the visit to the shire and being an Aberdeen wedding photographer for the day.
