Atmospheric Glencoe Wedding

Malvina & Dimitri are a French couple who dreamed of tying the knot in Glencoe, Scotland. I travelled through in the early hours of the morning so I could get some photographs and b-roll from one of my favourite places in Scotland.

Their day started behind St. Johns Church in Ballachulish in the beautiful Aos Si Lodges chalets.

It was time to head to the ceremony spot at the top of mountain. I was wishing I could travel lighter!

We were losing light fast, and I wanted to get a moment beside the waterfall a few minutes away before it was completely dark.

Why elope?

Besides the incredible, breathing experience of truly touching history and nature - look at the images. Every time I do an elopement the photographs are always the most enjoyed by the public. There is something magical I am not clever enough to transcribe.

Another great reason to elope is how much easier the wedding is. Yes there are varying difficulties of wedding. I imagine planning a lake Como wedding and flying all your guests over there, arranging many foreign suppliers would be incredibly challenging. Look at this list below. Gabrielle from French wedding in Scotland was amazing, as were all the other suppliers she organised.

Suppliers:

Planner - French Wedding in Scotland

Piper - Munro Bagpiper

Celebrant - Alan Barr

Make up & Hair - Bonny’s Wonderland
